Sound Solutions was opened in 1989 by Licensed and Nationally Certified Audiologist Sherrie Norbash, and  has been responsible for providing outstanding audiology and hearing aid services ever since.

 

Our specialty is in the area of advanced digital technology. Our regular customers particularly value our commitment to personal and professional services. Sound Solutions is proud to have been the first office in Northwest Arkansas to offer digital hearing aids. We remain committed to offering the best available technology and personal, professional service.

 

About our Audiologist

 

An honor graduated of the University of Texas at Austin (Bachelor of Science)and The University of North Texas (Master of Science), Sherrie Norbash was selected as Outstanding Audiology Student at UNT and is listed in Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. She is also listed in Who’s Who in Human Service Professionals and was selected as an Outstanding Young Woman in America. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Langauge and Hearing Association, The American Academy of Audiology, and The Arkansas Academy of Audiology.

Mrs. Norbash has served on the Hearing Impaired Advisory Board for area school districts and as a member of local service organizations. She works with the area Hearing Aid Bank and as a consultant for local hospitals and healthcare centers. She has been an instructor in the Deaf Education Department at the University of Arkansas.

 

With extensive experience in all areas of audiology, hearing disorders, aural rehabilitation and hearing aids, she is pleased to have helped hundreds of people achieve better hearing …….. She has over 25 years of experience in audiology, including years of experience in the offices of otolaryngologists (Ear, Nose, and Throat Doctors).

Sherrie Norbash

Audiologist

After completing her master's degree in Denton, Texas, Sherrie moved to Fayetteville in 1981 and made the transition from Longhorn to Razorback. She is married to Sid Norbash and has 2 daughters and one grandchild.

Nita Proffitt

Administrative Assistant

Nita is a fifth-generation native of Northwest Arkansas, a former teacher, and she holds a Master's degree in Adult Education and counseling. Nita is married to Dr. Danny Proffitt and is the proud mother of 3 sons and 2 daugthers-in-law, and her first grandchild is on the way.

Brenda Burrows

Administrative Assistant

Brenda is a former elementary school teacher who spent most of her teaching career at Happy Hollow in Fayetteville. She is married to Bill Burrows and has two children and 3 grandchildren.
